WEEK 32 – Nature at 300mm

So I met this reptile guy and he was very curious of what I was holding, he decided to come closer.

After a while he wasn’t to excited and decided to give me the the look.

A friend of his also came through.

And also he left shortly after..

At this time Gim (yes I gave him a name) was still basking at the sun, being a reptile and all he always wants to be the hot one so I turned the lenses back to him.

He noticed immediately and turned towards me.

This is the story of the reptile and the bird ooh the bird is below.

Not sure if she was eating or picking up building material but she also gave me the eye.

That’s when I parked my equipment and called it a day or a story or a shoot.

300mm so much closer to nature and its stories.

This week we had a group as our client who needed some interesting photographs referred to us by a previous client.It was our first try doing a group photo shoot.

Our set up was a green flat grassy area, a prime lens, an assistant and of course the client.Since all colours are made from the three primary colours Red Green and Blue that was our basic concept of the shoot.

Enjoy.

We capture both bloopers and the end product from these two you can decide which one is which!!

We tried unique poses suggested by the client.

We tried another.

We added some finesse with a touch of colour splash.

WEEK 30 – Studio Lights

Although we enjoy natural light and nature alot sometime we move out of our comfort zone and try artificial light. This is usually a challenge however with a grasp of the basics we always work towards perfection and most of all creativity.

Enjoy, comment, critic. We love more of critics for this is the only way to grow and better oneself.
