Nature Photography

Our favourite type of photography.

See how we did at this waterfall:

It was very bright.

Increase the aperture, reduce the shutter speed and get slow motion of water.

Bokeh in Photography

In photography, bokeh is the aesthetic quality of the blur produced in the out-of-focus parts of an image produced by a lens. Bokeh has been defined as “the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light”. via wikipedia

Here are some beginner shots showing basic lens blur.

Remember, bokeh is rendered by the lens, not the camera. Different lenses render bokeh differently due to unique optical designs. Generally, portrait and telephoto lenses with large maximum apertures yield more pleasant-looking bokeh than cheaper consumer zoom lenses.

Night photography

Night photography
(also called nighttime photography) refers to the activity of capturing images outdoors at night, between dusk and dawn.

Night photographers generally have a choice between using artificial lighting and using a long exposure, exposing the shot for seconds, minutes, or even hours in order to give photosensitive film or an image sensor enough time to capture a desirable image. source wikipedia
