Love Story

We were working on a  themed shoot, love story and below is how we begun.

Pushing our creativity to a new level.

Lens flare refers to a phenomenon wherein light is scattered or flared in a lens system, often in response to a bright light, producing a sometimes undesirable artifact within the image.

We decided to work with lens flare for it gives a uniqueness to images.

Then we got distracted by nature and angle of sun.

Portrait Photography

Portrait photography is the art of capturing the inherent character of your subject within a photograph.

Portrait photos look best if the eyes are in sharp focus. This improves the sense of eye contact between the subject and viewer, creating a powerful and engaging photo. So, when shooting portraits, especially with a shallow depth of field, make sure you set your focus point carefully.

We start by breaking the rules.

No face portraits.

Lady’s portraits.

Gents.

What is symmetry?

“The quality of something that has two sides, or halves, that are the same or very close in size, shape and position.”

Week Three 2019 – Inspiration: Black and White

Our inspiration this week is to simply take an amazing Black and White photograph of any subject we want.

Every photograph that you can think of, has the potential to be black and white. It depends on your imagination and a few key skills. Every area of photography, from landscape to portraiture, have their own set of requirements when it comes to B&W photography.

See how we did, enjoy:

Week Two 2019 – Composition: Rule of Thirds Motion

We are in week two 2019, time sure is flying.

Rule of thirds – The guideline proposes that an image should be imagined as divided into nine equal parts by two equally spaced horizontal lines and two equally spaced vertical lines, and that important compositional elements should be placed along these lines or their intersections.Proponents of the technique claim that aligning a subject with these points creates more tension, energy and interest in the composition than simply centering the subject. Adding to this motion has to be shown in the composition.See how we did.

Black and White Photography

180217 0002

This type of photography is also known as monochrome photography.

Monochrome photography is photography where each position on an image can record and show a different amount of light, but not a different hue. It includes all forms of black-and-white photography, which produce images containing tones of neutral grey ranging from black to white. Other hues besides grey, such as sepia, cyan or brown can also be used in monochrome photography. In the contemporary world, monochrome photography is mostly used for artistic purposes and certain technical imaging applications, rather than for visually accurate reproduction of scenes. source:wikpedia

It is a pretty complex type of photography since one aspect has been omitted, colour.

We gave it a try see how we did.
